Epping Forest MP Eleanor Laing was at the Waltham Abbey Tesco store to present equipment to three local schools as part of the Tesco for Schools and Clubs scheme.
Pupil representatives from Waltham Holy Cross Junior School, Leverton Junior School and Hillhouse Primary School received their goodies at the Sewardstone Road store this afternoon (Friday).
The nationwide scheme, now in its 21st year, enables schools and clubs to redeem vouchers from Tesco purchases for a range of products.
Epping Forest MP Eleanor Laing said: “I was delighted to have the opportunity to meet pupils and teachers from local schools and to see the happy smiles on the children’s faces as they unpacked the goodies.
“The Tesco scheme is brilliant because everyone in the local community can contribute to their local schools.”
