Eleanor Laing MP has welcomed latest unemployment figures for the Epping Forest constituency which show more than 100 fewer people out of work than a year ago.
The total number of unemployed claimants in the Epping Forest constituency in August this year was 1,753 - some 104 lower than in August last year, and 75 lower than in July this year.
Mrs Laing said: “These figures are to be welcomed but we must not be complacent and there are still far more people out of work than I would like in the Epping Forest constituency.
“I will be able to discuss the issue when I visit staff at the Jobcentre Plus offices in Loughton shortly.”
