Epping Forest MP praises Buckhurst Hill Horticultural Society Show over its spring show

Attending the event with County Councillor Valerie Metcalfe, Distict Councillors Sylvia Watson & Gavin Chambers, Eleanor Laing praised everyone involved in Saturday's Buckhurst Hill Horticultural Society spring show.

The event, at the Centenary Hall at St John's Church, featured an array of flowers, floral arrangements and homemade produce.

Eleanor said: "I was stunned at the incredible quality of the entries. It was amazing to see such lovely blooms which have been grown despite the horrendous weather we have had in recent weeks and months.

"It was a pleasure to meet some of the first prize winners and to chat with them about their success - I even picked up a few tips about how to care for my citrus tree!"

She added: "Everyone involved with the show deserves massive congratulations for overcoming the weather and putting on such a lovely array of colour for the visitors."
